However, Mumbai Indians’ performance was full of ups and downs in IPL 2025. The team, which won only one match out of the first five matches, made a tremendous comeback. MI won seven of their remaining 9 matches. This includes winning 6 matches in a row. The team finished fourth in the points table with 16 points and made it to the playoffs.
Mumbai Indians defeated Gujarat Titans in the Eliminator, but lost to Punjab Kings by five wickets in Qualifier-2. Thus they failed to make it to the final for the fifth consecutive season.
Talking about Hardik Pandya’s performance this season, he performed strongly during the tournament. With the bat, he scored 224 runs in 12 innings at an average of 24.88 and a strike rate of 163.50. He also showed amazing performance with the ball and took 14 wickets.
