India Women and England Women are set to face off in a three-match ODI series. The England Women’s Cricket Team has revealed their squad for the upcoming 50-over contests against India Women, with captain Nat Sciver-Brunt making a return after recovering from injury to lead the side.
Sciver-Brunt was sidelined during the ongoing T20I series against India due to a groin injury sustained while batting in the second T20I. This injury ruled her out for the remaining three matches of that series.
In her absence, Tammy Beaumont took over as captain for the T20Is and successfully led England to victory in the third match. Maia Bouchier, who stepped in for Sciver-Brunt during the T20I squad, has also been included in the ODI squad. Additionally, spinner Sophie Ecclestone, who missed England’s last ODI series against the West Indies Women, returns to the team for this series.
