Michael Clarke: India won two Test matches against England without Bumrah’s presence.
Michael Clarke: Due to the workload management of the Indian team, Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was able to play only three Test matches in the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, which meant that Bumrah was unable to play an entire Test series in England for the first time in his career.

Michael Clarke: Bumrah, who took 32 wickets in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy earlier this year and was the highest wicket-taker in the series, suffered a back injury during the last Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Sydney and the Indian team management is paying a lot of attention to his workload management after his recovery. Former Australian captain Michael Clarke has told that he believes that any team with Bumrah will be a ‘better team’.

Michael Clarke: It is worth noting that India had won both the Tests against England without Bumrah’s presence in the playing XI. Clarke lauded the visiting team’s efforts to level the series with a thrilling six-run win at the Oval.
“Winning the last match and levelling the series. Wow! Amazing, absolutely brilliant. And the other thing too. The two Test matches that India won, the best bowler in the world Jasprit Bumrah did not play in them.” Clarke said on the Beyond23 Cricket Podcast.
“A lot of credit goes to the other bowlers in the Indian team, for their improved performance. And I believe, and I don’t think anyone would say anything else, any team with Bumrah is a better team. But to win those two matches without him, a lot of credit should be given to that bowling attack,” Clarke added.
Siraj plays well under pressure: Clarke
“I think whenever Bumrah is not on the field, Siraj’s mindset and attitude is ‘I have to stand up’. When the team is under pressure, he wants to take the ball in his hands. I think when there are more expectations and pressure from him, he is a better bowler. I think he thoroughly enjoys his role in the team,” he said
