Bishan Singh Bedi

One of India’s finest spinners, Bishan Singh Bedi was part of the legendary spin quartet in the late 1960s and 70s. He took 266 wickets in 67 Tests and 7 wickets in 10 ODIs. Bedi ended his first-class career with 1,560 wickets and was among the first Indians inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame.

Sunil Gavaskar

Known as the original Little Master, Gavaskar was one of the greatest opening batsmen, becoming the first to score 10,000 Test runs. He played 125 Tests, scoring 10,122 runs at an average of 51.12 with 34 centuries. He was inducted in 2009.

Kapil Dev

Captain of India’s 1983 World Cup-winning team, Kapil was one of the best all-rounders of his era. He played 131 Tests and 225 ODIs, taking 434 and 253 wickets, and scored over 5,000 runs in both formats. Kapil was the third Indian inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame.

Anil Kumble

India’s highest wicket-taker in international cricket, Kumble relied on accuracy and variation. He took 619 Test and 337 ODI wickets and was the fourth Indian inducted. He is one of only three bowlers to take all ten wickets in a Test innings inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame

Rahul Dravid

“The Wall” of Indian cricket, Dravid scored over 10,000 runs in both Tests (13,288) and ODIs (10,889), with 48 international centuries. He was the fifth Indian inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Sachin Tendulkar

Considered India’s greatest batsman, Tendulkar scored 34,357 international runs with 100 centuries across 664 matches. His records remain unparalleled, earning him a legendary status in world cricket.

Vinoo Mankad

An exceptional all-rounder, Mankad scored 11,591 runs and took 782 wickets in 233 first-class matches. He played 44 Tests for India, taking 162 wickets and scoring 2,109 runs. The U-19 One-Day Cup in India is named after him.

Diana Edulji

The first Indian woman inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame, Edulji was a towering figure in women’s cricket. She played 20 Women’s Tests and 34 WODIs, taking 63 and 46 wickets respectively, retiring as India’s highest wicket-taker.

Virender Sehwag

Known for explosive batting, Sehwag was the first Indian to score a triple century in Tests and one of four to score two. He retired with 8,586 Test and 8,273 ODI runs and 38 centuries, boasting an impressive strike rate.

Neetu David

A left-arm spinner for India from 1995 to 2008, David holds the best bowling figures in women’s Test cricket (8/53). She played 10 Tests and 97 ODIs, taking 41 and 141 wickets, becoming the second Indian woman inducted.

MS Dhoni

India’s most successful captain, Dhoni led India to three ICC white-ball titles: the 2007 T20 World Cup, 2011 ODI World Cup, and 2013 Champions Trophy. He played 90 Tests, 350 ODIs, and 98 T20Is, retiring as a legend and the latest Indian inductee.
