Mustafizur Rahman has been signed for INR 6 crore. Delhi Capitals (DC) have brought in Mustafizur Rahman as a replacement for Jake Fraser-McGurk for the remainder of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. Fraser-McGurk withdrew from the tournament due to personal reasons. The IPL 2025 will resume on May 17, featuring the remaining 17 matches.
Interestingly, Fraser-McGurk returned to Australia after the BCCI suspended the IPL 2025 on May 9. The Capitals had acquired the Australian batter for INR 9 crore during the IPL 2025 mega auction. He featured in six matches for DC this season.
IPL 2025: However, Fraser-McGurk struggled with his batting, managing only 55 runs in six innings with a highest score of 38. Led by Axar Patel, Delhi Capitals are currently fifth on the points table with 13 points, holding a slim chance of making it to the playoffs.

Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman has joined the Delhi Capitals (DC) as a replacement for Fraser, securing a deal worth INR 6 crore. The left-arm fast bowler brings considerable experience, having played 57 matches in the IPL, where he has claimed 61 wickets at an average of 28.29. Last season, he was part of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) squad. Notably, Rahman previously represented DC during the 2022 and 2023 seasons.

IPL 2025: Axar Patel and his team have three more matches remaining in the league stage of IPL 2025. They are set to face Gujarat Titans (GT) on May 18, Mumbai Indians (MI) on May 21, and Punjab Kings (PBKS) on May 24.
So far, they have played 11 matches, winning six and losing four, while one match ended without a result due to rain. To secure a spot in the playoffs, the Capitals must win all three of their remaining games. However, their qualification will also depend on the outcomes of other teams’ matches.
