Gill has made some technical changes for red-ball cricket, and they’ve brought him success. But it takes time to get back into (T20). He’s a great player, there’s no doubt about it. He just needs to get back to his old form. I still have a lot of confidence in him.”
48-year-old Deep Dasgupta says India didn’t face any challenges or difficulties in the group stage of the Asia Cup. The Indian team will play its first Super Four match against Pakistan tomorrow at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Deep believes India will face few challenges in the Super Four.

Deep further said, “I like this combination, especially in these conditions. Two of the three spinners are wrist spinners, and they are not affected much by the conditions. Wrist spinners are match-winners, and you need them in every format.”
Kuldeep Yadav has been India’s most successful bowler in this tournament so far. He bowled brilliantly in the group stage match against Pakistan and also won the Man of the Match award in both the first matches. Deep Dasgupta emphasized that it is difficult for any player to play after a long gap, but Kuldeep has displayed his skills well.
